The Navy Board (NAVB) is the board responsible for the day-to-day running of the Royal Navy.[1] It is an executive committee of the Admiralty Board of the Defence Council of the United Kingdom,[2] except that it does not include any of Her Majesty's Ministers.[3] The Board shares the same name as its historic predecessor, the Navy Board, but is unrelated in structure or membership.
