Military Branch

Military Branch also called a Service Branch or Armed Service) is according to common standard the subdivision of the national Armed Forces of a sovereign nation or state. The military branch is further subdivided into branches for the Army, Air Force and Navy. Each of these branches have their own sub divisional specialist branches to which personnel are recruited to, for example the British Royal Navy has a number of branches including an Engineering Branch and a Medical Branch.
