The Flag Officer (Flotillas) Home Fleet[1] was a senior British Royal Navy appointment. The office holder was responsible for the administration of naval flotillas allocated to the home Fleet from December 1951 to July 1967. In July 1967 the office was renamed to Flag Officer (Flotillas) Western Fleet.[2]

History

The office was created in December 1951 the first incumbent of the office was Rear-Admiral W. Geoffrey A. Robson. The final office holder was Rear-Admiral Michael P. Pollock.[3]
