The Department of the Deputy Chief of Naval Personnel (Training) [1] was a subsidiary of the Department of Admiralty established in 1951 following following a reorganisation of workload within department of the Chief of Naval Personnel. It was controlled by the Deputy Chief of Naval Personnel (Training). In May, 1959 it was renamed the Directorate-General Training.

This department was overseen by the Second Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Personnel.
