The Commodore at Jamaica was a senior Royal Navy Appointment established in 1838. The office holder was responsible command and control of the Jamaica command which was now a subordinate command of the North America and West Indies Station.

He was additionally responsible for the naval command area known as the West India Station until 1865 under the joint title of Senior Officer, West Indies.
