The Administrative Planning Division (A.P.D.) was a division of the Admiralty Naval Staff established in December, 1959 following a renaming of the earlier Administrative Planning Department, it was in operation to 1966 when it was renamed the Directorate of Naval Administrative Planning. The division was administered by the Director Administrative Planning.

History

This division had evolved from the earlier Plans Division (Q) set up in 1943. In December 1959 the Administrative Planning Department name was altered to the Administrative Planning Division.[1] In 1966 it was renamed the Directorate of Naval Administrative Planning
